As a successful team leader some of the personal characteristics are:Patience,
good at helping others, look at the big picture, see everyone gets the help they need to succeed.

As Gery says: Look for your best five, help those best 5 ( I say help them all the way to BTL).Then teach them to do the same thing.

Each month you need to sharpen your leadership skills by reading a lot, giving individual help, and trying something new.

Leaders need to open a co-op,create

Well, here is a list of what i think you need:
Patience - it takes time to get there (where you want to be) and to make some good money.
Discipline, determination and consistency - you have to be there and do something on a daily basis.
Inter-personal skills - you need to work with other people in a team, be a great team player, work with your upline, downline, ECAs and a2a friends.
Generosity - be generous with your knowledge; share what you know with others and your money too;

To become successful - people need to develop themselves as well as the business.

A successful business is managed by someone who has determination and is also persistent.

Determination is the basis for goal setting. Persistence is necessary to achieve the goals that have been created for not only self but also for the rest of the team.

Having these 2 traits, an affiliate will assist with following the ideas that Gery Carson has written about in the article, "Success

Leadership is build in within ourselves. We only have to nurture this so we could express and communicate ourselves freely to others. Be honest with ourselves but also with others to built in trust.

Have passion on what you are doing and share the experience to your PSAs.

Make your first goal with SFI be the first goal of your PSAs (be an EA) by learning and mentoring them how to duplicate the actions you have done.

Consider the existence of individual differences

Enthusiasm, perseverance, enthusiasm, pro activeness, enthusiasm, willingness to succeed, enthusiasm, patience, enthusiasm, ability to stay focused, enthusiasm, enthusiasm and even more enthusiasm. Like any endeavor you pursue in your life, if your not enthusiastic about it, the flame that drives and guides you on will slowly die off. And you don't want that to happen.

Skills??! Not many. If you can read, write and communicate, that's about all you may need in here for a start. Check all

The most important thing an SFI affiliate needs is persistence! It takes more than half an year to build a decent team and it is really not as hard as it sounds.
Besides that, I prefer honesty. You have to be really honest to your new affiliates when they join this business, because - sooner or later they will find out if you told them the truth or not.
Personally, I don't think a person needs to be a natural born leader, but it definitely requires some level of self-awareness.

My answer to this one is somewhat "zen" in nature.

Q: What are the personal characteristics and skills you need to become successful with SFI?

A: Whichever ones you have.

What I mean by that is that we all bring our strengths and skills to SFI, and those are the ones that will make us winners. Some people are great teachers, and they're the ones that will write the instructional and motivational pieces that will build strong teams--you'll also likely

Be willing to learn. You can't do anything in life without learning how first.

Have pacience. It takes time to learn and time to grow.

Have goals. Without goals you dont know where you are trying to go.

Stay focused on your goals. Without staying focused, you can stray off course very easily.

Finally have ambition. I believe this is the key to anything you succeed at. Without it, lies failure.

In my opinion the personal characteristic you need most is integrity. You need to be honest with your downline and let them know it takes time to earn money on the internet.
The majority of the skills you need can be learned, either from the training on SFI or your upline.

Remember everyone in SFI is reliant on their downline whether it be CSA's or PSA's. We all need to build up our affiliates and work with them.

I hope this helps. I wish you every success with your SFI
