As a new Team Leader, what is the single most important thing I should be doing?
For me, the single most important thing to do is to make sure that I am doing everything that I am asking my team to do, if I am not doing it I can not expect them to do it either. I lead by example so that any affiliate on my team may see that I am not asking them to do something that I am unwilling or unable to do myself!

First what you need to do is check out your Leadership page. It must be green. You need to do your daily,weekly and monthly actions. Talk with your members and tell them what they need to do,teach them,etc. Set up a standing order if you didn´t. Also post ads,make blog etc. Don´t forget to remain your status,every month. READ,TEACH and REPEAT.

As the leader you need to be the example of what you want your team members to do.
Encouage and praise anything and everything you can. Everyone likes to hear that they have done well.
Acknowledge both effort and success no matter how trivial you may think it is. Every one has different strengths and that "small" achievement to one is a major hurdle to the next.

I am unable to answer you from experience, as I have not yet attained Team Leader status. I can answer you based on what I expect from my Team Leaders
I cannot name the single most important thing you must be doing, but I can name two - communicate, & never quit. Don't give up on yourself, & don' give up on your inactive sponsored affiliates - one day they may surprise you by choosing to become very active. Quitters never win & winners never quit.

The most important thing is to first share the good news about becoming a team leader with your team! let them see that you made it so they can too.continue to support them and encourage them, if you have good tips to share on how to succeed as you have, then be sure to share those with them too.
As a new team leader the single most important thing you need to do is follow your upline in what they are doing and then do the same thing with your affiliates and your promoting.
Duplication is the name of the game and the easiest way to keep your grading as team leader.

Well, I am not a BTL yet, but on the day I become one I know what I would do first. It would be thanking my own team, because I could never do it without them. I would encourage them to do the same and help them realize how they can become BTL too. I am pretty sure that their thoughts in that moment would be "If he can do it, I can do it as well". You will be surprised how fast you will become STL after that!

As a new one (hope I can be a Team Leader, soon), the single most important thing you must do is to retain/re-qualify your Team Leader rank every month together with your Active SFI Team Members/Downlines and help them to become a Team Leader like you...that's DUPLICATION is all about.

You should lead by example by letting your downline known how to become one.
Stay in contact with them by team mail and personal e-mail, always encourage them and keep them update on what new. Answer any question that they might have for you as soon as you can.
