They say leaders are not really born naturally instead they are made. All of us can be leaders but not all can be effective leaders. If I am to ask you which would you choose: to be the worst leader or to be the effective leader? Of course, you would choose the latter. If you want to be an effective leader, you must remember that you should lead by example. It means whatever you say to your team mates, you must also do it with yourself. When you told them that you should have a Standing Order, you must also have a Standing Order. When you say advertise your SFI business, you should advertise your SFI business too. Besides, where is the sense of your leadership if you are not the one doing it with yourself?

Back then, I have always thought that a leader must have an authority to their team. To make it worse, I thought they must be always strict. In fact, I thought I would never be the one because it is not in my nature to be strict. As time goes by and after reading some self-help articles and e-books, I have learned now learned better. You can have the authority to your team but you do not need to be strict.

A good leader must have an open mind too. You must not be one-sided. Just because you are the leader, it does not mean you should not listen to your team. That is a big no-no and a turn off. You must also be a good listener because sometimes their suggestions are better than yours.

I had this boss who was so super strict that she would get mad easily even when you made just a tiny mistake. Sometimes I was so terrified to go to work because I knew I had to face her again. Fortunately, I survived. Haha!. And every time I read about leadership, she was the one I remember. Even though she was so strict, I have learned so much from her.

Dear Stephen, I am following description as well as an invitation for all SFI members to return any best answer and prudent approach to ourself. Indeed since the beginning we 've supposed to understand how almost 75 percent of the causes of the success of everyone in a business is derived from itself. System or "rules of success" only serves about 15 percent. The remaining 10 percent is determined by factors (the circumstances) beyond, including in this context is personally sponsored affiliates (PSAs) and co-sponsored affiliates (CSAS).

Make the parable, the SFI system motivate us to open playing cards one by one. SFI system has been intelligently arranged and well tested, so that if we are sincere, diligent, and patient then sooner or later we would get 4 sheets of "A" card. So, if only we opened 10 new cards only, my advice do not stop . Open the card 11th, open the card 12th, open the next card, and continue to open the next card up to we get 4 sheets "A" card.

Parable evolved through duplication and whatever results it is determined by "what are we thinking?" and "how we think". Of course, people who are thinking about something small and narrow will not get anything big and spacious.

Had we PSAs and CSAs inactive or quit, continue and never ceased to motivate them to become active. We only have 10 percent chance to invite them to their success. Haste forward projecting 50 percent of our focus to refer SFI and TripleClick to everyone. Indeed, if we've a strong desire, earnestly, and diligently and there are many ways to success.

This is a very good question... Since you limited your question to the "single" thing you should do as a new Team Leader, I will not waste much time on it...

There are lots of things you should do as a Team Leader but I think the best single thing to do as a is to support your downline and help them become just like you... By doing that, you will be accumulating "matching VersaPoints" which gives you a share in the commission pool and the principle applies to them too as they also earn on their downline...

That's a really good question.

Communication is the key.

Always keep in touch with members of your downline. Contact them and give them the extra push they need to also become a team leader. Build up your leadership skills and teach your downline members the same, which is another example of duplication.

The single most important thing you can do now is building your team to succeed. This you can do by being an awesome leader. Get them duplicating what you have done in terms of recruitment, sponsoring, advertising and entering the auctions and the draws.

A team leader guides, directs and leads his team through all the gamut of sci business. Helping his down lines avoid the pitfalls and mistakes he made while on his way to success.

Without a team, you are as it were, a paper tiger. It will take your team half the time it took you because they will be standing on your shoulders as their mentor.

Well, it depends. Everyone has a different meaning of important. First, you need to study your standing with SFI meaning you need to locate where your weak spot is in SFI. Everyone has different weaknesses some may have a hard time starting a conversation with their downline, some may not understand English very well, some may not be computer savvy enough, etc... You can start by look into yourself and find where you think you need improvement in, and it should relate to your success with SFI. You can also study your To Do List and try to find which one of those red tags need more of your attention, then, put more action into it.

The most important thing I have found is getting your downline to maintain their EA2 status. You receive VersaPoints every month for those that maintain their EA2 status. Another important thing is for you to maintain your Team Leader status by completing all the necessary action points. Make sure your EAs are duplicating your actions.
