The single most important thing you must do is to Retain your PSA's & CSA's. this only can be done by maintaining your Level as EA2 and above as BTL STL or PTL Make standing order of 1500 VP atleast 5 EA2 in your downline and ask them to do the same thing thats it.

Follow your team's progress with a regular weekly visit to each person's VP Ledger.
Start by visiting your "Movers" tab and selecting as many as you have time for. Do not just settle for the "Top Ten". Send each person one "top tip". Keep your message simple and direct to the point. Always thank them for being part of YOUR team.

As a team leader you need to make your team above all always hold together, if someone on the team has an issue look to always know the answer, Teach yourself so you'll be able to and his team to lead. Help your team's role in them because they are your salary, and show them that they are investing in their teams. The only way to create a healthy tree of those who work.
AS new team leader I think, one should concentrate more on team building as without team, it is very hard to continue as team leader. You should earn 1000 AVP every month to continue. Secondly, bidding auction is the second most important thing as it gives 1 AVP per bid subject to maximum 500 AVP per month.
So these two things should be given highest importance, I think.
You limit this to "one thing" and that make this not an easy question to answer. I will however be able to answer this in one sentence:
Lead from the front, and by example, whilst having a strong work ethic with honest and transparent business values.
This is not the only answer, nut this one while take you a long way....
As a Team leader, there is not single but multiple important things to be accomplished. A Team Leader should have many capable facets due to which he/she should be able to guide its downlines from time time as the case may be.

2. Continue to sponsor more PSAs and teach them to do same.
3. Encorage your CSAs and PSAs to avoid rushing to become a team leader, rather to focus on building quality PSAs and CSAs who will push them to become leader, otherwise they will themselves crashind down and subsequently gets discouraged.
4. Finally and most important, encourage you downlines to have a Standing Order for 1500 VP to maintain maintain an EA level every month.
