Be prepared to make at least 3 post every week to your blog and be prepared to do it consistently for the long run as sites are indexed over time. You should use a domain that is relevant to the subject matter. On your blog be sure to include a capture form so that you can build your list from the traffic that will start to come to your blog. My blog is aimed at teaching Internet Marketing techniques to a niche market, using SFI and TripleClicks in my examples. People get curious about SFI's program and sign up though the link at the bottom of each entry.
It is easy to suggest generic ideas for marketing, once you have introduced SFI's superior system, but why would anyone do it the hard way, when we have it all laid out for them?
Be sure to advertise the URL and the topic of each entry on Twitter. People are drawn to business tips of any kind!
