I think the best places to advertise with flyers are placed with an increased flow of people such as shopping malls, public markets, or even in the street.

then it does not matter where you put fliers, the important thing is always to advertise! from the baker to the hair salon until the most crowded places, but always following the rules of the road without incurring fines.

To me posting flyers is like a science. You can try posting your flyers in places where they already have active shoppers ready to spend. Especially, when the place offers items that cost more than Tripleclicks.
Try to study the people who are shopping in that area. Observe what kind of products they usually buy there and if you can communicate with them to find out more about their shopping habits.
Then, when you have wrapped your mind on the whys, when, where,whats, hows, now you can target these reason by posting flyers that are related to these reasons. It's marketing so you have to know the reasons and you put something of interest infront of them.

Ask permission of course!!Some examples are Sports Clubs,Notice board of work place,Shopping Malls,In your neighborhoods (where I live you can post flyers on Post),Coffee Shops etc..Contact you newspaper and you can put in there.
