What I do is watch and try to get to know my worker affiliates.
Each Day I sign on and send emails to all my new affiliates, at any genealogy level. I set Date Joined = Today's date, such as 12/10/12, and I send a word of greeting to them. To those sponsored by someone in my 1-4 Generation I Team Mail them and include an affirmation of their direct sponsor, introduce my self, with leadership page link, and give 5 ways to gather VP to reach 500 on day one. Then I will email their sponsor a Heads up and some help to follow up. With my 1st generation affiliates I introduce myself (LP) and tell them I have emailed them a welcome message. In the welcome message I show them exactly how to get 505 points ASAP. And I tell them what I will do for them if they make it on day one.
Then I do a Versa Point this month >1100 When they are close to qualifying for EA I encourage them, I visit their VP Ledger page and see what they can do to get to 1500 and email it to them.
Then I do VP this month >1500 and email them ideas on how to sponsor, or how to get an ECA or how to help their Affiliates.
I also check Total VP > 1500 to see who qualified last month but is inactive this month and I try to find out why.
