Yes I have tried facebook paid advertisment, Actually i was having coupon code of it , so didn't cost me more.
I made very Fantastic blog to advertise Tripleclicks and SFI and did add of it. I was getting good number of visits but not much signups. I was finding what is the lake in my page, finally i got it. I used attractive banners made by me on my blog and my contact information , by which people directly asking me about the system of SFI, what to do, how to start and all that. I can say it worked bit good for me but not that much as i had expected. Because Faceboook is one of the larger community then we must get good number of signups in average. In short you must know how to advertise , how to attract people do not emphasis on where you advertising. Because if they people will like it they will sure click on it and join it.
One more advice to you is in Facebook there is sometimes payment issue occurs for paid advertisement so please take care while doing it.
