First of all, I would advise the person to purchase shares of S-Builder, if possible. This will build VP and also to advertise the gateway sites. I would also invite the person to join any co-ops you are a member of or reward the affiliate if he/she becomes an EA or higher. Advertising to warm market by talking to family and friends on the phone or in person is another great way to get started. As the person grows in resources and confidence, then launching out into other ways of advertising become possible. Car signs and business cards, flyers, etc., provided by SFI, can also help immensely. This also builds VP. And don't forget eCards! There are just so many imaginative ways to do this that much creativity is possible.
