Everything one does today will have an effect on one's business at SFI and is therefore of importance for tomorrow.
I'm new to SFI, so my answer is limited by my present limited knowledge of SFI (which is growing in leaps and bounds daily!) - but as a new Affiliate, I believe that I'm planting the seeds of a successful business each day and I understand that the harvest can only be reaped after days and weeks and months of nurturing. But there won't be any harvest if I don't start by planting the seeds of success today.
As a new Affiliate, those daily seeds that need to be planted include:
1. Increasing knowledge by:
* completing the daily To Do list
* systematically going through all the other information on the SFI site (such as Training, Ask SC and the Forums where an abundance of knowledge is shared by others who provide new seeds that one can sow in one's own business)
* leaning more about the tools that are easily and readily available for network marketing on SFI
* speaking to others who are gurus in the business world and especially those who have experience in online marketing
2. Increasing my down-line team:
* using your enthusiasm about the possibilities on SFI when communicating in everyday situations
* speaking to family and friends to get new leads about potential PSAs
* advertising to find more potential PSAs
* investing some finance to increase your list of PSAs and CSAs
3. Expanding the TC list of ECAs:
* making contact with family and friends to find potential new small businesses (easier to approach smaller businesses for a newbie - once one knows more about SFI and TC, then one can more confidently approach bigger businesses)
* phoning businesses with products that one already supports and/or knows something about (again, for a newbie it's easier to begin to make contact with some personal background knowledge about a company's products)
* advertising targeted at small businesses who might be interested in expanding their market
While there are clearly a great deal more things that one should do to expand your business, at first those 3 steps are the ideal seeds to plant in order to begin to nurture the business.
