Website Traffic is still a great position to have a continuous flow of visits to our website..
Imagine a long highway with continuous flow of vehicles, and we had a store running, on our right is the Fuel Pump station and our left is a Food Court. Due to the on going traffic, at least they invite more visitors to our store. And some may just pay a visit, but some may make a purchase and even pump their fuel. Some may want to stay longer taking a rest or enjoying their food.
That's it..!
Our websites are just like the variety store and the traffics are just like the busy on-going vehicles.
Now, to serve and understand their needs to stop by our store in order to make a sale or joins our opportunity business, first, we need to know where they came from and what supply they may need to continue their journey..
The same goes to website traffic. Especially visitors coming from a PPC (Pay Per Click) site (which is very popular these days), this kind of visitors surfs the net and while getting pay for every click and staying in the site for few seconds or a minute or so, and some other programs may needs them to sign up before getting pay. The worst is after their sign up, they will never visit our websites again. Therefore, some knowledge of understanding where these traffics may come at least helps us to create a better responsive sites. Like the scenario above, if only we can produce a better attraction for them or at least deliver what we had promised before they sign ups.
Many who not understand how things work normally gives up at early stage with no intention to learn more.

So we do need big massive traffic to practise and test our ads quality and responsiveness, from time to time..
