There are two types of affiliates who buy from TripleClicks.
1. Those who are buying out of their desire to have rank.
Some these affiliates do not see the big picture of SFI business thinking that money will come if they have lots of personally earned VP or have attained certain rank. This kind of buyers will not last, because later they will realize that they are spending rather than earnings. So do not develop this kind of buyers.
2. Those who are buying as strategies to grow his SFI business.
These are the kind of buyers that we want to develop. He buys because it is part of His strategies. We know that our SFI business grows if we have active affiliates. So, his buying pattern must be related to finding affiliates and encouraging these affiliates to be active. On the process of course he also accomplish the VP requirements.
Example of a strategy is to win PSA's and CSA's from bidding. So he buys TC to win more affiliates. Or he buy PSA directly. Then he buys Gift certificate to help and motivate his affiliates to be active.
So the buying is related to growing his SFI business by finding more affiliates. I believe this is more lasting. He will continue to buy specially if he has found 1 or more active affiliates.
