Let me elaborate, the web is much more powerful and saves more time and money.
So your best bet would be digital (online)...
So start by blogging.... example : wordpress.com
When you blog you will have to focus on a specific niche example : Your journey making money online and what is your "WHY". Within your blog you may then go ahead and include SFI links and banners recommending SFI. Build your own following / fans.
Start building fans and followers using social media, example : create a facebook group and your leads/ prospects will come from their.
Start building a twitter presence. Hootsuite can be used here to manage all your social media accounts at the same time. For social media blocking some SFI links simply use Bitly.
Basically your goal here would be to use the social media to get traffic ( visitors to your website ).

So your social media strategy I suggest you use to gain followers / leads / prospects is to simply share value.. People generally love motivational twitter and facebook pages etc.

Own the space, Make it your own, Blog about your own passions and include your story of how you got into making residual income online....
Search engine optimization plays an important role on blogging. So research all of this.
Use google analytics to see what works and what does not.
Newsletter software : Getresponse or Mailchimp etc. The big word here is "LIST BUILDING". This is also how you gain more traffic to your website which ultimately opens the door for sales...

Position yourself as expert in your niche. This will draw attention to your brand.
BRAND! you must build your own brand as people will buy into you when you build trust with them. This is where video (Vlogging) comes in. Its more personal. Offer Skype sessions for those interested to hear more...

Subscribe to websites that gives great advice one social media and blogging etc.
