We give gifts to special people in our lives. We are always looking for something special to give.
People spend a lot of money on their children. Toys are always good gifts. That does not mean just any toy will do. Parents are looking for educational toys - it will serve a double purpose - teach the children something as well as keeping them occupied. Also keep in mind that children today knows exactly what they want - and it would usually be electronic. Toys connected to the latest children's movies are also very popular.
For Teens it would be cell phones, tablets, I-pads, the latest device to download and listen to music on. Great make-up sets for the girls. They usually want to wear the brand name clothes - but they do not want to get it for Christmas - so they are not good products to promote right now.
Young lovers will be looking for a special peace of jewelry - male and female. Romantic gifts.
You can go on and work out what people would usually look for at each stage of their life.
Once you figure that out you can go to each department or category at Triple Clicks and look for those special products that each group will like. Look for the unique products that is not readily available in the shops or very expensive if we buy them from a shop.
You will find more suitable products than you can imagine in each department. Choose a variety of products from each department. Advertise or promote different products in difference places - that way you can promote more products to a bigger audience,
Do not forget the ECA's - many of them can be promoted as one "product" because they sell things that make great gifts - you do not have to pick some of their products - you choose the ECA and all their products are included.
I am still promoting my "old favourites" - although they are not gifts, for most people in any case. There are also people (like me) who would love nothing more than these practical everyday products that I would love to have and use but will never buy for myself.
