The Forum is an excellent resource for all affiliates and I have found it to be of benefit in 2 ways:
1. Topic discussions enable me to search for a topic and read to benefit from the knowledge of other affiliates who are SFI business owners with more years and less years of experience than me. Knowledge transfer saves me time to consider what strategies work and do not work as an on-line business owner.
2. Topics enable me to add my own answers for others to read and provide feed-back on so by default it becomes a business consultation process without having to pay a consultant fee. The more that I participate as writer the more comfortable I become with my skills as a writer, presenter and business owner which then supports my role as an entrepreneur.
With these two benefits in mind, I find that the forum gives me the following:
Strategies that are specific to issues that I struggle with
Review of possible road-blocks with solutions shared by other affiliates thus saving me time and future frustrations
Align your Forum search to what will help you get closer to your business goals for the day, week, month, or year so you are focusing your efforts on something rather than all things to become overwhelmed
Connect with other affiliates who are successful in areas that you wish to be - use the Forum to find a mentor and to guide your choices to creating a Master Mind Group to be used on-going for coaching needs, consultation, or bouncing ideas off of
Find topics that are of interest to you and read the threads to find gems that you can incorporate into your business
Direct your down line members to topics that may be of interest to them to respond to on-going repeated FAQ that you receive - use the Forum as a way to highlight solutions to problems and send out as part of your weekly team mailer
The Forum is a universal resource which has so much so don't be afraid to ask others how he or she has benefited from the posts too.
