Thank you for your question. I think that the first and most important habit that we need to develop is to realize that it is a business and to make our business a priority. The time, effort, and money that we invest in our business is important because it shows that we take our business seriously. It is not a hobby or something that we do just for fun, although we do enjoy the auctions and the games.
I think the next habit that we should develop is to log in every day. I have found that I accomplish more when I log in first thing in the morning. The to-do list is important, not only for the vp needed to keep my rank, but also for the information in the forum, the newsletters, and in ASK-SC. I also answer my email during this time. The time that I spend varies depending on the time of the month and my schedule. If I don't think that I have to log in every day and work at developing my business, how can I honestly expect my team to log in to SFI and conduct their own business? One important thing that I learned from my sponsor is to lead by example.
The next habit that we should develop is to read. Readers are winners. I have always loved to read but I have found my attention sometimes wonders if I am not careful so I have found it useful to take notes and to write down questions that occur while I am reading. This helps me to focus on what I am reading.
Try to learn at least one new thing every day. There is a lot of information available for SFI affiliates and it can seem overwhelming at first. Even after completing the Launchpad lessons, I still find that I still have questions so I will read them again and learn something that I missed on the first reading. The Forum and ASK-SC are valuable resources for learning.
Let your team know that you appreciate them and their accomplishments. Make sure that you are available to help them. You can't be a leader without a team. Your team is an important of your business because when they succeed, you succeed!
Be proud of being an affiliate of SFI. It has a long and proven track record. Take pride in your accomplishments and in achieving your dreams.
