Your business will grow faster if you can make it a team effort rather than one person working alone.
However, some family members may not be in support of your efforts from day 1. They may be skeptical about your involvement in an on-line business. Give them time, and make sure you tell them about your successes.
The best way to get them actively involved is to ask them to do something they are good at. You may need to offer a fixed payment at first. Then tell them about the results they generated, and the next time they may accept a share of the profits!
For example, my step-daughter (in her 20's) is much better than I am at designing web pages that appeal to young people, so I asked her to design a page for me. She opted for a nominal one-off payment rather than a share of the profits. It was a good investment - I have brought more upwardly mobile young people into my business as a result of that page.
She later said she wished she had taken a share of the profits - it would have been more money in the long run. I gave her the same share I had offered in the first place, so she ended up with both! Now she is happy to help whenever I ask her and she talks about 'her' business with her friends.
