I have to say that there really are no best places to recruit affiliates face to face because it all depends on your skill level and timing. So what I would do is to be sure that I have my elevator speech down pat. The minute I strike up a conversation about SFI/TripleClicks I am going to be so confident and enthusiastic about what I'm doing I will get a referral most of the time. You only need to know what you are talking about and talk about only that you know. Be prepared with xcards, gift cards, or gift certificates. Be straight to point and brutally honest. You don't want anyone joining your business but the right someone. So in a few minutes you know if you have a DTL in the rough. Don't waste your time looking for the right place. Start right where you are and make the most of each opportunity to share and the right person will come along.
