- Have at least 2 adult family members or friends assisting you.
- Try and keep the open house get-together presentation in the front garden, a front porch, or a front room of the house, locking the doors to the rest of the house. Keep a dog in the house for the duration of the get-together, away from the visitors, but nearby.
- Stipulate the opening times of the open house in your marketing of it, and keep it short - an hour or so. Display this opening time on your front gate or wall too - this will help prevent people asking "to use the bathroom".
Put up large posters all over that have questions relating to SFI - with the answers displayed too. If you are expecting very many visitors, this may help minimize how many people need to speak to you one on one.

Wear a professional-looking billboard (be a human billboard) that says "Ask me questions about SFI." This also ensures that a large crowd of people can easily spot you, and recognize you as the organizer of the get-together.
Have a computer running with its screen projected on a wall, displaying the testimonials gateway.
Have many SFI business cards and pamphlets on your person, ready to hand out. Being a human billboard would provide a place to keep the business cards and pamphlets - hang a little bag from the billboard, or add a small cardboard "pocket" to the billboard.
Have some juice and finger snacks available, spread out on small tables in several places, so that not everyone crowds into the same corner.
Do your research ahead of having the get-together. Be ready to answer any question. Be self-confident, relaxed, and have fun!
