1. It depends upon your location whether in the city or in the local area. Your location is what will determine the kind of gathering that can hold and the kind of people you want to come.
2. Your Budget
This is the yardstick by which you determine your get together. You'l need refreshments and drinks. It should just be moderate and not necessarily elaborate. Just go by your budget.
3. With 2 above, set apart a give way prize or sovenir which can speak a lot about SFI and can create sign ups for you e.g gift cards.
4. A Speech
This could be done by any of the superior SFI Affiliate around your community, who has been long in the business and successful as well. Your guest speaker can speak of the impact and change of life that SFI has made in his /her life and what SFI is all about. This kind of presentation can go a long way to let people know that SFI indeed does change the standard of living of people. They wanted a proof, now they have gotten one.
5. A Bonanza
Depending on your budget, you can create a small bonanza or pick the price game, where the person can win either an SFI T shirt or a TC Tshirt. This helps the propagation of your SFI business beyond the confinement of your gathering. This announces your business by people who won the bonanza and the people who came. It would be much fun during the game.
6. Take Away Gift.
You can give extra take aways of X cards, flyers, stickers etc to those who come.
7. Your Family
To make it huge, you need the participation of your family. You can't do it alone. They can be your voice to invite their friends and colleagues to your get together. Besides, you can brainstorm with them.
8. Beautify The Place
Let the place you'l use be up to taste. Banners, good lights, good sound system must be in place and well organized.
