Indeed its a very nice question and based on my experience, I do hope I would be of help.
As it is, people sign up for various reasons mainly to earn quick money overnight. We are all aware of how network marketing works and we also know that for every business owner, he doesn't start recoding a profit until 6 months to a year before he can count his profits. Likewise, that is how SFI business is.
As a good sponsor to our PSAs, PSAs who complain that they are not gerting the desired results, or they are not getting the return on their investment, would need to change the mode of their advertisement, and exploit other areas of making money without spending much money.
Areas I normally advise my PSA are through SFIPPA where the individual you refer if active for 3 months you receive a bounty of $10. With that income, you can use it for purchases on tripleclicks.
Another area is through referrals of ECAs products. Once you refer a potential customer and he makes payment, you would be paid a commission.
Another area is through listing of unwanted items in your home. Once you list the item on tripleclicks and a customer makes payment, SFI wiil retain a norminal fee and the balance is funded in your tripleclicks account.
We as sponsors are always there to encourage our PSAs so that they don't loose forcus and quit.
SFI has really given each affilate the opportunity to earn money (6 different ways of making a residual income) as such, we need to tap into the wealth of resources available on the website.
In summary David, I strongly believe that if you try any of the points above, there would be an improvement and your PSA would be motivated.
