In every business we have to invest time and money. And in every business we have to find the most efficient way to do so. The answer is simple- find out everything you can about the business. Do your research.Your knowledge will save you time and money.
What does this mean? It means that if you are advertising somewhere and it's not giving you good results- try advertising somewhere else. If your current approach to your downline isn't giving you good results- try a different approach. Learn from experiences of others and test things for yourself. Monitor the progress of everything that you do and invest more of your time and money into things that gives you good results. After learning from the experiences of others and doing some trials and errors by yourself, you will start getting more than what you are putting into it. Bottom line- it is all up to you and it is very important to do your research and invest smart.
