Certainly the first thing you want to do is to turn enough red tabs to green to get 10 AVP. This should only take you a few minutes to complete. Of course more is better but 10 is the minimum to keep your VP streak alive.
The second thing you need to do everyday is to check your emails and respond to each appropriately. You also want to complete whatever weekly/monthly duties for points and to keep your affiliates informed and motivated.
I'm presuming you have already achieved the rank of EA2 and do not have to take time out for training and launchpad lessons. But also do this if you need to and I hope it doesn't run you over the hour.
Now you need to have a method of growing your business on autopilot, since you don't really have the time to put into doing any active promotions. I suggest you get some S-Builder Coop units.
Only one hour per day doesn't really permit things like auctions or playing games, so you won't need to buy any monthly TCredits. Fill up your SO with S-Builder instead.
6 S-Builder units will give you more than the 1500 SVP SO to keep your Gold FT active for a price of a little over $110.
One hour isn't a lot of time but it can be enough to achieve success. When you've made it to Gold, Platinum or Diamond, then you can quit your day job and take all the time you want.
