If you want to be successful, good communication is an absolute necessity in building your business with SFI and TripleClicks.
Communication in its self is a “two way conversation” between the speaker and the listener. With each person taking their turn in speaking and being listened to and in listening while the other person speaks.
When you are working on-line good communication can be very difficult to achieve especially with SFI and TripleClicks being a global market. Even when using Skype or other forms of face to face contact you have to figure a way to combat the difference in the time zones.
You will find that the best form of communication with those in different countries and time zones will be to use email. This will only work if you have previously made good connections with each other.
When reading your prospects/affiliates email you will have to learn how to read between the lines to figure out what the writer is really trying to say.
Learning to read between the lines is an art and takes a lot of practice to be able to respond properly. The best way to learn how to read between the lines is to put yourself in the situation that your affiliate/prospect is in and ask yourself the same question or statements, what you come up with is the starting steps of better communication between you and the one receiving the message.
As an example: someone states to you “making money”. What is your response –
• Is the person asking “how to make money?”
• Or is the person stating that “He or she is making money.”
• Is this a rhetorical statement (a statement that needs no answer or response).
I could add many more variables to what is being covered here but I believe I have made the point what to think about before trying to answer questions or responding to statements made by the responding receiver.
Of course this is all done through Emails – Face to face communication is still the best way to get any message shared between two people – of course there comes another challenge and that is reading body language – But that is for another time.
