Sponsors come in all shapes and sizes. Some are very good, others not quite so much.
The person who brought me in to SFI was very helpful at first, but I ran into some health issues and fell silent for a while. By the time I returned my sponsor had left the business, and I had been passed up the line to another sponsor, who I have never heard a word from. If I had relied on that second person to help me, I would not have a business today.
When you started with SFI, you started your own business. You are your own boss. Think of your sponsor as a mentor or adviser rather than as someone you should rely on. If they are helpful, you can learn a lot from them, and it will make getting started easier for you.
Even if they are not helpful, you still have a co-sponsor, and others in your up-line, who you can call on for advice. Or you can obtain advice here in AskSC or in the forum. Or you can study the training materials SFI have provided on your own, and you will find everything you need to be successful.
The bottom line is, it is you who needs to take responsibility for your own future. Be grateful whatever advice you receive from others, but don't allow your own success to rely on it.
