Good Sponsor is a Great Gift but, To build a successful SFI business, there is no need to rely on a sponsor. In general, most of the successful leaders in SFI do not have a Great Sponsor.
Your success clearly depends on your own effort. You sponsor can only guide you the best way to walk but, you are the one who needs to walk through that road. Rely on your sponsor for the doubts you develop while following your path. And if you are lucky to have better up line other than sponsor,then you do not have to rely on sponsor for this at all.
Besides, what is the need for sponsor to clarify your doubts and show you path; as there are amazing and experienced members in Forum who are always willing to help?
In short, Do not rely on anyone to build a successful SFI business (Mentioned in Launchpad); Your success only depends on your effort.
