Going for Team Leader is a good idea, but I wouldn't advise it if you don't have a strong fleet of PSAs under your belt.
That reason being, it would be too expensive to move up the ranks. You would have to fork over a lot of cash just to make Bronze. For now, just stay the course. Focus on logging in, doing your daily actions, and scoring your VP. When you do take any PSAs under your wing, teach them to duplicate what you do, and you'll reach Team Leader status in no time. But of course, you've got to make sure that your affiliates are putting in work daily. ;)
