This is a very thoughtful question and the reasons are mixed as to why it is important or not important to become a team leader before having a team. So I am going to give you my personal opinion. My opinion is based on my experience.
I believe that you should become a team leader as soon as possible. The reason is “Second Home CSA’s”. As a Team Leader, you receive a large portion of CSAs from SFI, because the previous co-sponsor is no longer qualified to be a co-sponsor. I currently earn more money on my CSA’s than I earn on my PSA’s. All of my CSAs that are EA or higher are 2nd home CSAs. You are probably saying, “How is that possible?” Let’s talk about CSA’s for a moment.
When someone joins SFI, they are immediately assigned a Co-Sponsor. At least ninety percent of people who join SFI do nothing. That is a lot of people. That explains why the 100 CSAs you won in a Triple Clicks auction do nothing. However, a 2nd home CSA is assigned to you because the previous CSA is no longer an SFI affiliate or lost their leadership status, and as a result, their CSAs were taken.
Here comes the good part. In order to be a second home CSA, you must be an ACTIVE affiliate. In other words, you have not been purged from the SFI genealogy due to inactivity. This means that a second home CSA is more likely to be an EA or better than a 1st home CSA.
Also, you will earn matching Versa points from your CSAs that are EA or higher. Matching versa points equal more money from the Triple Clicks Executive Pool.
As you can see, 2nd home CSAs are the magic that drives a Team Leader with no Team. But, I will say that CSA’s are just as much on your team as a PSA. What do you think?
