The best time to upgrade from EA to Team Leader will greatly depend on your readiness to fulfill all responsibilities attached to the role of team leader.
Your team members will look up to you to give them direction as to how to have a good start in their business. This means that you will have to lead by example. What you do, as captured on your leadership page will be their first point of reference.
Remember that most of your PSAs have been assigned to you. Therefore, they have no clue on who you are. So you have to build a relationship with them through regular value added interactions.
- weekly newsletter (encouragement, tips, etc)
- one on one exchange to address specific issues
- make yourself accessible. I personally encourage my team to exchange vwith me via Skype and watsapp.
If you're prepared to do above, I have no doubts that you're ready to lead a team by example.
