There is no one best time to upgrade from EA to Team Leader. It depends on individual preferences.
You can be a Team Leader during your first month at SFI while learning the ropes and while building a team.
Alternatively you can be an EA until you have a team and then go on to be a Team Leader.
However, the best benefits are reaped when you have a team of EA2s and with you being a Team Leader, you earn matching VPs on your team members.
As a Team Leader you are entitled to monthly shares of Second-Home CSAs. That makes it attractive to be a Team Leader during your first month at SFI.
As a Team Leader you need to be well versed about the business to provide the support and training to your PSAs. So you need to pick up knowledge fast if you wish to be a Team Leader during the early stages.
If your PSAs are duplicating fast enough then it is advisable to go for a Team Leader soon.
Your team is being formed by sponsoring and if you are already a Team Leader they look upon you as their leader and it is advantageous to be a Team Leader as soon as possible.
A Team Leader title is easy to obtain by spending money. However if you build a team of EA2s and Team Leaders, you will earn the VPs required to qualify as a Team Leader without spending money to buy the rank.
