This obviously has to be a personal decision based on what each affiliate can afford, so I won't attempt to set a price which may deter people who can't afford that amount.
For some who have no money to invest, a lot of time must be invested in free advertising and trying to win TCredits to use in the games. You will need to spend some money from time to time, buying a 100 pack of TCredits. Judicious use of these in DP auctions and DP KO Trivia can make these last and turn them into MRP which can then be turned back to purchasing individual TCredits for maximum VP. I bought 100 TCredits once which lasted me 6 months, and I was able to maintain EA all that time without any other outlay. I made money slowly, but I still came out ahead. It is possible to succeed on a small budget.
However if you do have money to invest, I think buying an SBuilder co-op unit each month and 100 TCredits would be a very helpful investment. With these and your Daily actions you will have no trouble maintaining your rank of EA. These will help you to grow your team, and give you the means to enter into the games and auctions.
SFI is your business and if you can invest into it, it will undoubtedly grow faster than if you don't. Work out how much you can spare to invest. Spread what money you have available across a range of different activities to grow your business. Such could be - buying PSAs, perhaps doing your own paid advertising, buying a Standing Order of 136 TCredits, paying for an autoresponder, your own domain name, and hosting a blog and or website. This would be money well spent and would make your business grow faster than nothing or only occasional investments.
