Personally I think the best way to show them how important it is is by grabbing the DAILY AVPs yourself. By so you doing it would be easier for you to explain how the somewhat little DAILY VPs can add up, bringing them a step closer to earning the minimum of 1500 VPs monthly.
After which you can explain to them or show them how you or an upline member only had to buy maybe just one item or a few TCredits to get the remaining points needed to advance to the next level.
A quick example is what I did last month. I grabbed all available daily points plus weekly points and I bought 8 TCredits. This amounted to 1500 VPs and that was how I qualified as an EA for the second month.
I'm sure you have team members who can share similar stories like mine. You can create a Facebook group for your teammates where everyone can share their experiences. With this I think they would be more than convinced and they would do all it takes to grab every point available even the ones from SpinAndWin.
