I think the best way for anyone who is new to any Internet business to get started in online marketing is simply to start a blog.
Word of mouth and referrals will always be one of the best marketing tools, and blogs help new members do several things at once:
1. Get used to being online
2. Get used to "talking" about their business
3. Review different areas of SFI
4. Review different products in TripleClicks
5. Share their experience with the business
6. Display banners on their blog
7. Share links to their SFI gateway
8. Share blog posts on social media like Facebook, Pinterest, etc. without worrying about any links being blocked.
And all of this is done in just a few minutes each day.
Other reasons why blogs are the best:
1. They're cheap – registering a domain name and setting up hosting can be less than $10, and WordPress is free.
2. They're easy. You just write and publish.
3. Visitors to the blog get to know, like and trust you as you continue to build valuable content.
4. You can "talk" to people like you would in person by way of your blog posts.
5. You can actually talk to people by doing videos and embedding them into your blog.
6. Several blog posts can interest more people than a few words in an ad, business cards or brochures.
So I would strongly suggest that new members start a blog, or if they have a blog already, set up a special section just for talking about SFI, then suggest they do at least one new blog post per week about the business, if not more, and share the posts on social media sites.
