This is an easy one….dare I say, especially for the women. Women are great at getting together for a cuppa and a chat. Put a small ad in your local paper and say that once a month you will be holding a morning tea and a chat. Detail that you will be showing them your new business and that there is a free gift for them as well. Perhaps you can give each new member who signs up, a Gift Certificate. Just make sure you have deposited your gift certificate money in good time so that it is available on the day of your morning tea.
Your morning tea can be a recruitment time for new members and it can also be for members that have previously joined but would like some more information on what to do. If you go about helping these new members each month with a get together, you will do well.
When you place your ad in the paper, state that it is a free morning tea but bring along your laptop with you. You can then show people how to join under you and you can detail exactly what they have to do.
Leave doing your daily tasks until your members arrive and you can go through them together. Restrict your morning tea numbers to 10 or 12 people so you can give them your individual attention.
Not only will you get new members, you will also make a lot of new friends.
