I think they first have to understand that they need VP to grow their business and to climb the ranks. Once they understand that and they start doing their daily actions they will realize that it is the easiest way to earn VP and it is fun.
The daily actions also keep you up to date with what is happening at SFI - if you actually read what is on each page. I still learn something new just by reading those pages and clicking on anything clickable.
I can not see why anybody would think it is a waste of time if they know how SFI works and they understand what they have to do to build a successful business.
