You tell your affiliate that doing the daily 1VP action is not a waste of time. How is this so? You can earn up to 15VP doing just the daily tasks, right? Tell your affiliate to multiply the amount of VP earned daily with the umber of days, e.g. May has 31 days, and by multiplying 15 and 31, you get the result of 465VP per month! I don't think anyone would allow him/herself to lose so many points per month.
Furthermore, ask your affiliate how many points he/she could earn per year by 'just' doing the daily 1VP action, and then your affiliate will see that building an empire takes time.
If your affiliate still thinks that daily 1VP actions are a waste of time, then he/she is not taking this opportunity seriously.
