Just because people are in a given age range does not mean that they have the same desires and values, and it's those desires and values that get you interest in activity. For example, if I were to suggest to my younger friends who are ecologically-minded, I'd be more focused on getting them to promote "The Natural" products and make money doing that--it gives them a win-win opportunity to advocate ecologically-sound products. On the other hand, those who are connected to the artists and crafters among them, I would instead point out the advantage of promoting their friends through ECA stores. I would tell them, "If you can help your friends and make money doing it, everybody wins."
If you want to attract younger affiliates, target the types of affiliate you want, speak to their wants and needs, and they will come on board..
