As they often say, money is not everything but it makes a lot of difference in the business world, including SFI. However, lack of it is not synonymous with failure because there is still a lot you can do here to get by without money. As a sponsor, there are 2 aspects I will expect you to assist your team members who have no investment fund; the DO’s by them and the DO’s by you.
The DO’s by them:
1. Direct them to advertise in free ad sites for SFI (PSAs), TC (PRM) and ECA signups, including face-to-face prospecting and prospecting their warm market. Emphasise the promotion TC products using these methods and if they are lucky, the necessary VP for maintaining at least an EA status may be earned, coupled with possible direct commission that may be invested in their SFI business.
2. Encourage and guide them to participate in TripleClicks (TC) member listing in order to raise some cash to fund their SFI businesses. It is just a Tcredit per listing, so they may be able to afford it if they receive some free tcredits from the actions in #3 below.
3. Encourage and guide them to participate in all free or cheap to play EZ games to win various prizes like Tcredits which they can use to bolster some aspects of their business.
4. You may show them how to surf in traffic exchanges to accumulate credits which they can use to place their respective SFI gateways in rotation.
DO’s by you:
1. You may give them free participation in your co-op to generate signups to build their businesses. You have to ensure this is not a free for all assistance, but for those who show signs of interest and hard work irrespective of financial obscurity.
2. You may directly place their urls in your advertising media including your website or blog if necessary.
3. You may also use the reassignment tool to place some of your PSAs under any of these team members without cash, provided they are promising. The PSAs you will reassign should be those who have the potential to generate direct commission for them which they can invest in their SFI businesses.
4. You may issue Gift Certificates (GC) to them and ensure they use it to purchase products that will enhance their SFI businesses and not waste it on cosmetic or unnecessary things. This GC may be very handy to those who have the potential of becoming ECAs but lack the basic requirements to qualify, then a $40 GC will help. However, you are not going to also be sending a couple of GCs for shipment of the goods they sell before they are paid, so you may initially look for those who can sell e-products for the time being to avoid shipping costs.
5. Send then Tcredits to boost some aspect of their business like for member listing, playing EZ games etc
In conclusion, please do not do for them what they can do for themselves and this is why my answer is in 2 parts because you will duplicate laziness which will back fire big time. Also, whatever you are doing for them directly should not be a permanent strategy of yours, but to prepare them to eventually be capable physically, mentally, and financially to run their show themselves.
