Spend as much as you can. With so many advertising channels available online and a product which has universal acceptance, to advertise and get as many PSA as possible should be absolutely easy. From personal experience, I feel better way to advertise is prepare a small product review by visiting the gateways and try to advertise in the following channels :-

1. Search Engines
2. Site Directories
3. Craigslist (for those residing in USA)
4. Safelists
5. Traffic Exchanges
6. Classified Ads.
Each one of these channels have thousands of people to visit them. As a result, chances of getting better exposure for your product should be the highest.
