Teach them that while VPs are extremely important to acquire for their ranks, it is even more important to have an active team!
They can use Bid & Build through Pricebenders, bid for PSAs in auctions, or buy them through S-Builder Coop or PSAs to Go. With SO and, I believe, NMP in place, as SFI affiliates they can buy, through TripleClicks, PSAs for $1.99 USD/each.
A wise way to buy PSAs would be a Standing Order of S-Builder (they start arriving 5-6 weeks after ordering, come in about 6-8 PSAs/month) AND a plan to buy $1.99 PSAs at the rate of 1/day for a specific amount of time, depending on how much time they spend getting their new PSA started. They will each arrive 3-5 days after ordering. If that is too close together, order them every other day instead. This will give a 2-day window to get each one started, and maintenance help can be handled along the way.
There are no guarantees of activity with any purchased PSA, regardless of method. PARTLY, their success depends on how you start them. MOSTLY, the rest of the story depends on each PSA.
It should also be suggested to them to try recruiting PSAs/PRMs from their warm market - family, friends, neighbors, etc. And the other local methods using business cards, flyers, W3 decals, bulletin boards, etc.
The best way I can think of off the top of my head to motivate all these new affiliates is to make them understand that once they reach a certain rank, they begin to get matching VPs from their downlines, these will help raise their commission levels. These are currently 1 VP = 1 share of Executive Pool, so the more VPs they have - through their downlines' activities as well as their own - the more shares of the pool they will receive (more money).
Let them all know you will be available to help them any way you can, direct them to their answers rather than telling them outright, if possible. They will remember better where they found the answer as well as what it is:)
