I don't think you should be doing that - it's called stereotyping - because people belong to a certain ethnic group, or nation or social group they are all the same.
On the other hand it is not good to treat everybody exactly the same - like an assembly line of pre-programmed robots.
So how do you then approach them? As individuals. Get to know your team and approach each one differently - No, it does not mean you have to send each individual newsletters - it just means that some of them will need more contact and help and others are happy on their own doing their own thing - just be there when they need your help.
