Many affiliates are discouraged for one reason or the other, prominent among those reasons are the urge to make quick money and lack of understanding of the business. However, when frustration for lack of success resulting in a likely decision to quit and its brought to the attention of the sponsor, then the sponsor may attempt to remedy the situation and make efforts to encourage the affiliate thus:
Tell the affiliate that this is essentially not a get rich quick business, so there is need to expect a gradual growth by systematically taking it in his stride and in the process try to develop a sound understanding of this business.
Tell the affiliated the need to have or develop a business mindset, instead of an employee mindset, because this is his business and thinking otherwise is not a motivation for success. This means he should consider success and failure his responsibility and that failure should not be an option, and quitters do not win.
Encourage the affiliate to let you know the exact problem and where his or her frustrations lie that you are here to assist him. Let him know that it is better late than never, so he should not allow the frustrations or failures of the past constitute a fog to the potential success of the future.
Also, tell the affiliate not to concentrate on his weaknesses, instead he should tap the maximum potentials of his strength, so in this regard, encourage him to seek out the aspect of this business he is comfortable participating in as a reboot of his business.
Send him powerful testimonials of successful SFI affiliates that had similar challenges he faces, especially those from his country.
