The Spiders look for URLs (personal domains) that are hosted by a service provider. (Note: The hosted domain has a better chance of visitors if the domain is hosted for 2 or more years.

Another good point about personal domain names is that your URL will not be blocked by Facebook or Twitter and many other social sites.
The use of your own personal domain name has many benefits over using a “affiliate numbered replicated site”. So when you can afford it and want to take your advertising to a higher level then I suggest you obtain your own domain.
