Let them know that this is always their choice to make.
But if they stay and work on their business they always have a chance of recruiting that one or two fantastic affiliates that will make them an income. Whereas if they quit then they have zero chance of that ever happening.
Ask them what they have been doing to build their business and see if there isn't something you can do to help.
A lot of people claim to have put in a lot of effort and hard work but when you look closely they have just been treading water the whole time.
Maybe they just need some clarification on a few things, or some help designing ads, something you can help them with.
I know this gets thrown around a lot but remind them that "Winners never Quit and Quitters never Win."
If after all that they still quit then "move on". Don't pine over the lost ones, work with the ones you have left, they need you more.
