When you have your own domain, and by which, I mean an actual webpage or website and not just a domain-name used for forwarding people to sign up, you have a far bigger and more flexible tool in your hands. Here are some of the things you can do with it:
* You can set up a blog and talk about whatever you're doing, build a wider audience, and then plug TripleClicks very easily from there.
* You can use your site as a "front end" to your TripleClicks ECA store or even use it to sell products in OTHERS' ECA stores.
* You can create a forum in which to discuss various elements of online interest, and drive people to TripleClicks from there, much like you would with a blog, but with much more interaction.
* You can route people from facebook or other sites that otherwise block SFI or TripleClicks links to your own domain, and from there, more easily direct them where you intend for them to go.
* Atop whatever you do with SFI, you can combine in other opportunities, if you desire--you can even sell advertising space on your own website as an additional source of income.
* Most importantly, it's your little corner of the Internet, to do with as you please. This can be immensely satisfying.
