Actually the best motivation for hard work is to gift someone what you think he had valued and needed, but at times we may not know and this is why I often give them options to choose from;
"You are doing wonderfully well to build your SFI business, particularly your recent E365 champion award. Like always, I reward my PSAs who achieve a big deal like this, so kindly choose from below your preferred gift...." The options will be like 10 PSAs, a promotional landing page, 50 Tcredits, free co-op membership for 3 months etc.
That is how I send some gifts and anyone that does not reply don't get any as I will assume it’s not needed. So back to your situation, a gift is a gift but the important aspect is how it is received by the recipient and if it is capable of achieving the very purpose of sending the gift. Some affiliates do not even acknowledge receipt of a gift, never the less to say thanks and I encourage SFI related gifts in order to ensure it is directed to this business. The reason for this is simple; since it is difficult to ascertain how team members will react to gifts, if it is SFI business related then it’s a win-win for both the sponsor and team member.
However, be very careful and sceptical of any of your team members who may request gifts or assistance that are not SFI related. This is because some sponsors have fallen victim to team members receiving non SFI related gifts and disappears afterwards. This is why some sponsors try as much as possible to make sure team members use gifts from them to further better their SFI business.
