Generally, it is good to offer incentives to your Affiliates for achieving a particular milestone in SFI. The purpose of incentive is to motivate your downline to achieve something and thus get a reward from you.
Really, incentives should be SFI related. It should be something that would boost their rank, perks or income when they earn it. Think of SFI related incentive like Gift Certificate, Free PSA, S-Builder share TCredits etc. These incentives are business building and help the whole team eventually.
However, non-SFI incentives should be sparingly used. Also, it would be great if it could help them in building their business e.g a DVD copy of a motivational book, a presentation on topics like Free Advertising, SEO, duplication strategies. But, if you have to use completely a gift that is not relevant to the business, let it be a one off thing otherwise, you may not really be well articulated to building a strong team.
