This is interesting question. I don't think you should advice them in these lines. The reason is that, as team leaders and Sponsors our task is to encourage them to become a team leader. How fast or slow is their choice. If they want to earn at SFI then they have to work that out themselves. If they want to earn fast they have to work as much if slow then they can take all their time and the runners will be running ahead of them.
SFI is all about choices people make. If they have joined they need to work. If they came just to have a feel of SFI they can and if they want to stay long as long as they want to, they can. If they want to leave they can leave by opting out and if they want to be successful every thing by way of tools and resources are here for them to be successful with.
We can not tell them to be fast or slow. It is their choice and how capable they are or want to be.
