Hi. Gabriela DAMJANOVI?.
Sales people are fearless.
Sales people do not fear rejection. They do not mind hearing somebody say "NO" to them.
They do not take it personally.
A sales person knows the rule: "The more "NOs" you hear, the closer you get to a "Yes".
That being said, I personally do not like being seen as a sales person.
Gabriela, keep in mind that nobody wants to be sold. Everybody wants to make their own decisions.
I understand your question as "How to bring people to follow your recommendation?; how to convince them? how to help them make the right decisions?
Those who are truly successful in sales (I wish I was one of them) focus on helping people
(i) identifying their real problems
(ii) offer them the best solutions to those problems
(iii) effortlessly help them see the advantages and the benefits to apply those solutions.
They are not selling, they are helping.
To achieve our goals in the field of sales, we would be well advised to come across as genuinely motivated by our prospects' best interests.
When we continuously give people what they want and it benefits them, we, in return, will also succeed and reach our goals.
If you like to call it "sales", I would not argue with you.
