While I understand the importance of having a Standing Order for 1500VP or more, we need to remember that EA status can be gained by 1500VP gained by either purchases OR sales.
Psychologically speaking, most people resist giving something up (spending), but readily accept the prospect of gaining something. With that in mind, I have found that you will run in to much less resistance showing your downline how to sell TripleClicks items, for which they receive both commissions and VP before asking them to spend their own money to maintain EA status.
Once they are making sales, they don't need to be motivated to spend anything because they will already be receiving commissions and will have no doubt that SFI/TripleClicks is the real deal.
